A MAN from Havering was one of six people to be arrested in dawn raids by Lewisham’s Trilogy Crime Squad on Thursday on suspicion of dealing Class A drugs.

The 23-year-old was arrested at his Havering address as part of sting on alleged drug dealing in south east London and Essex.

Four other men and a woman were arrested at five separate addresses across Haringey, Southend and Lewisham, with the assistance of the Territorial Support Group and Essex Police.

A large amount of Class A drugs and several thousand pounds of cash was found.

All six suspects remain in custody in a south London police station.

Detectives acquired warrants for their arrest after an ongoing investigation into a criminal group allegedly operating a drug supply network in south east London and into Essex led them to the six suspects.
