Youngster injured in fail-to-stop incident on zebra crossing in Theydon Bois

POLICE are appealing for information following a fail-to-stop incident in Theydon Bois where a four year-old boy was injured.

It happened at around 3.15pm yesterday (Thursday, February 2) as the boy was using the zebra crossing near Tesco in Coppice Row.

He was in collision with a light blue Nissan Juke which briefly stopped before leaving the scene.

The boy has been taken to hospital with a suspected fractured leg but his injuries are not described as life-threatening.
