Youths robbed in Waltham Abbey

Detectives are appealing for information after two teenagers were robbed of their phones at knifepoint.

The boys, aged 16 and 17, were walking in Howard Close, Waltham Abbey, at 6.40pm on Friday February 3 when they saw two suspects, one with a knife.

They demanded their property and stole an iPhone 6 Plus and a Samsung S3.

Neither victim was hurt.

One of the suspects was white and wore a dark blue hooded top with the hood tightened around his face. The other was black and wore a black jacket or hooded top, also with the hood tightened around his face.

Both were thought to be aged in their late teens.

Anyone who saw the suspects around the time of the incident or anyone with CCTV footage covering the area are asked to contact Dc Ben Elliott at Loughton CID on 101.
