Two teenage boys charged with burglaries in Basildon and Pitsea

TWO TEENAGE boys have been charged with committing burglaries in Basildon and Pitsea.

A 15-year-old from Pitsea has been charged with two burglaries and an attempted burglary in Dencourt Crescent, Basildon, between February 1 and 2.

A 17-year-old from Pitsea has been charged with four burglaries – one in Swanstead on February 2, two in Dengayne and Chittock Gate on December 21, and one Glenmere on December 13.

He was also charged with taking a Ford Focus without the owner’s consent on December 21.

Both boys were arrested on Saturday, February 4. Neither can be identified as they are considered minors.

Both were due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court today.
