Kent and Essex Police charge five people from Havering with various offences in connection with alleged burglaries in eastern England

FIVE PEOPLE from Havering have been charged with various offences following an investigation by Essex and Kent police into alleged burglaries in the east of England.

Daniel Maltman, 22, of Havering Road, Romford, Kim Maltman, 55, of Havering Road, Romford and Brian Maltman, 54, of Havering Road, Romford, were each charged with encouraging or assisting offences believing one or more will be committed and converting criminal property.

Peter Lord, 23, of Wigton Road, Romford, was charged with two burglaries in Chelmsford and Brentwood from May 2016.

Albi Kelly, 23, of Rainham, was charged with three burglaries in Kent in May 2016 and Brentwood in April 2016.

Nick Guidotti, 24, of Thorney Bay Road, Canvey, was also charged with four burglaries in Brentwood and Chelmsford between April and May 2016.

All six deny the charges and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on February 24.

Detectives are continuing to enquire for information.

They have released photos of jewellery allegedly stolen in the spate of burglaries.

Anyone who recognises the items is urged to contact Brentwood police via 101 and quote the reference number on the relevant photograph.
