AN ambitious £2million scheme to radically revamp a Collier Row estate is on the cards.

Residents are being urged to send in their suggestions to rename the estate's blocks of flats.

Family's will see their homes radically improved with refurbished entrances, balcony repairs, new landscaping and planting for outside communual areas.

There will also be external decorations to the blocks entrances and stairs. Council chiefs said, for safety and security, there will be upgrades to all of the door entry systems too.

The revamp will also include external wall insulation to non-traditional houses.
