The finale to a bizarre season…
I must say, this has been the most unusual season of football I’ve ever had the privilege to cover.
Firstly, a huge thanks to all the clubs who have continued to make #YellowSport welcome on a Matchday and the fans who have taken the time to read our reports and stories from around the grounds. We fully appreciate your continued support and will be doing everything possible to build on our wide-range of coverage from the Premier League to the parks, come the start of the 2020/21 season.
But back to today and a massive match at the London Stadium. Of course, West Ham United’s recent revival has seen them pull clear of the Premier League’s relegation trap door. However, for visitors, Aston Villa, the danger is still very real.
The West Midlanders are outside the dropzone by virtue of a single goal and are involved in a three-way shootout with Watford and AFC Bournemouth from which one will survive.
West Ham have been in a bit of form lately. David Moyes will be keen to see his side finish with a flourish and has insisted his side will treat the game like any other.
Look out for #YellowSport team news, updates, report and a reaction from the London Stadium as well as from the Gunner clash with Watford and Tottenham’s trip to Crystal Palace.
Stay safe and keep an eye out for our cricket coverage over the coming weeks – Jeevesie x
