Josh Perry contributed a useful 36 – Akhil Anil the pick of the Ilford attack with 5/32 from his nine overs.

Mohammad Ahktar’s 38 along with Aditya Nair (25) and Haaris Ayub (23) kept the contest very much in the balance. However, led by Sandeep Muraleedharan with 3/17 and two apiece for Andrew McGarry and Ahmed Khawaja the Old Boys recorded their first league victory of the campaign.
