COLCHESTER UNITED have confirmed that none of their players was found to be positive as the second phase of COVID-19 tests were completed.

The U’s have returned to training in small groups at their Florence Park facility in Tiptree early this week, with 126 tested being undertaken on players and staff from the four clubs involved in the Sky Bet League Two play-off semi-finals – all returning negative.

Provisionally Colchester will face Exeter City with the winner facing either Cheltenham Town or Northampton Town for a place in League One.

Colchester, along with the three other League Two clubs, are expected to return to full-contact training shortly, subject to clearance from the EFL.
