Appeal after boy injured in Chelmsford collision

Police are appealing for witnesses or footage of a collision in Chelmsford which left a 12 year-old boy needing hospital treatment.

The boy and an white electric Nissan 4×4 were in collision in Baddow Road, opposite the Texaco garage, at around 8.40am on Monday May 16.

The vehicle failed to stop at the scene.

The boy was taken to hospital with bruising and swelling and was released later that day.

The driver of the Nissan has been described as white, in his mid-20s with dark hair.
