Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision where a motorist was forced to swerve by another driver causing her car to flip on its roof.
A woman, aged in her 20s, was driving her white Fiat in the outside lane along the London-bound track of the A13 from Basildon towards London at around 11pm on Friday August 23 when the incident happened.
Another motorist came up behind the woman and began flashing their lights forcing her to move into the inside lane.
The other vehicle then cut in front of the White Fiat, forcing the woman to swerve. Her vehicle then flipped on to its roof landing on the A1089 slip road at Tilbury.
The other vehicle then drove off without stopping to help the woman or exchange details.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident or have any Dash Cam footage. We currently have no description of the other vehicle.
Anyone with information can contact investigating officer PC Garry Stansbie at Chigwell Roads Policing Unit on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
