Appeal after collision on A127

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A127 near Rayleigh.

They were called shortly after 6.40pm yesterday, Friday December 10, to reports that a van had left the road and hit a tree.

The collision took place on the London-bound carriageway, near to the junction with Saint Michael’s Road.

It is not believed that anyone was injured.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was driving in the area at the time and who may have dashcam footage.

Witnesses should call 101, citing incident 1078 of December 10.
