Appeal after man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

Officers are appealing for any dashcam or mobile phone footage following an incident where a man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder near Chelmsford.

Police were called to reports of an assault in Drovers Way near a McDonald’s restaurant at the Boreham services,.at about 9.25pm on Monday December 18.

At the scene, officers found two people injured who were left in the care of the ambulance service.

Following a search of the area the suspect’s car was located and a man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and driving under the influence of drink or drugs.
