Appeal after man bitten by dog in Hockley Woods

Police are appealing for information after a man reported being bitten by a dog in Hockley

The victim reported he was out running in Hockley Woods, Main Road between 8.30pm and 8.35pm on Wednesday November 1. when he was bitten by a medium-sized black and white dog.

The victim described the dog as appearing similar to a jack Russell.

The dog’s owner, who police wish to speak with, is described as a white woman, with long, black hair, between 50 and 60 years of age, and wearing a long, black coat.

She reportedly had up to eight dogs with her at the time of the incident.
