Appeal after man injured in Southend knife attack

Police are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing at the junction of  Southchurch Road and Chichester Road, Southend.

Officers were called at around 2.10am this morning, Saturday August 1, to reports that a man in his 20s, had received a serious injury to his arm.

A group of four to five men were seen running from the area.

One of the men was described a black, around 25 years old, with short hair. He was wearing black shorts, a white vest top and white and black trainers.

A second man was wearing a light green or beige tracksuit with white stripes down the arms and legs. A black hood and white mask.
