Appeal after man is injured in Southend collision

Police are looking to speak to witnesses who saw a collision involving a pedestrian and a Ford Fiesta.

The 68-year-old man from Shoeburyness fractured both his ankles in the collision in West Road, Southend, at 2.30pm on Tuesday July 14.

Some witnesses have come forward and police are keen to speak to anyone else who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or has dash cam footage.

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Tina Quinlivan in the Chigwell roads policing unit on 101 quoting incident 638 of 14 July.
