Appeal after man is mugged in Westcliff

Police are looking to trace witnesses to a robbery in Westcliff on Thursday August 5.

A 56-year-old man was walking along Cobham Road at around 6.45pm and turned into Station Road when three men pushed him against a wall.

He was punched in the face and his wallet was stolen.

The suspects were described as two white men and one black man, all around 6ft tall.

Officers have been carrying out house-to-house and CCTV enquiries and are looking to speak to any witnesses who were in the area at the time and saw what happened.
