Appeal following aggravated burglary in Southend

Police are appealing for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Southend on Friday April 12.

Officers were called to an address on Shoebury Road at around 11:30am.

The suspects smashed the rear patio doors of the property and entered whilst carrying a hammer and a screwdriver.

They then attempted to remove the victim’s rings from her fingers.
