Appeal following alleged assault outside Loughton pub

Police are investigating an alleged assault that occurred in Loughton on Sunday July 11.

It was reported that a man was assaulted as he stood at the front of the Cottage Loaf public house at around 11pm.

The 35-year-old victim sustained a head injury after he was punched to the face.

The suspect is described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins tall and aged around mid-20s. He had dark blond curtain-style hair with piercing light blue eyes.

Anyone who was at the Cottage Loaf public house that evening and witnessed the incident or has information that might help, is asked to call 101 and ask for PC 1397 Arnold at Loughton Police Station.
