Appeal following assault in Shoeburyness

Detectives investigating an assault in Shoeburyness are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.

Police were called to reports of a serious assault in the area of Elm Road shortly before 6.45pm on Saturday February 24.
Officers found a man had suffered a significant wound to his hand. He was taken on to hospital for further treatment.
