Appeal following attempted burglaries in Southend

Police are appealing for witnesses following two attempted burglaries at flats in Southchurch Avenue, Southend.

It was reported two men had tried to force open doors to flats from a communal hallway at around 5am on April 26.

One of the men is described as around 5ft 9ins tall, wearing all black clothing including a ‘beanie’-style hat and gloves.

The second man is also described as wearing black or dark coloured clothing.
