Appeal following fatal collision at junction of M25/A13

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision at junction 30 of the M25.

Officers were called at about 11.40pm on Sunday April 14 to reports of a collision involving a car and motorcycle at the Mardyke Junction.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

Two men, both aged 18 and from Essex, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Part of the roundabout was closed for several hours and was reopened about 10.30am this morning, Monday April 15.

Prior to the collision, the car was involved in a pursuit involving Kent Police. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is independently investigating the circumstances following a mandatory referral by Kent Police to the IOPC.
