A man was seriously injured in Southend on Friday July 3 and police are encouraging witnesses to come forward.
Officers responded to reports of a fight shortly after 7pm. It is believed that the altercation involving a group of around four people began outside the Nisa store on Eastern Esplanade and is believed to have ended on the Kursaal estate.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his leg and chest. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
