Appeal following theft of £100,000 worth of jewellery in Brentwood

Police are appealing for the public’s help following a theft in Brentwood, where £100,000 worth of jewellery was stolen.

Officers were called to the Brentwood Leisure Centre at around 3:30pm on Sunday, October 23 following reports of a theft from a vehicle. The victim had attended an antiques event at the centre before their car was broken into.

The suspects stole a red and black bag containing jewellery worth around £100,000. £4000 cash was also stolen.

Two suspects walked from the leisure centre towards a nearby car wash on Doddinghurst Road.
