Appeal for information following assault in Grays

Detectives investigating a serious assault in Thurrock are appealing for the public’s help.

Police were called shortly after 0.15am this morning (Saturday February 18) to Milton Road, Grays, following reports of a disturbance involving two men, one of whom was allegedly in possession of a knife.

Officers found a man, aged in his 30s, had sustained a serious arm wound that required hospital treatment.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH and remains in custody.
