Appeal for witnesses after collision in Hockley

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Hockley.

A cyclist and a blue Ford Fiesta were involved in the incident, which occurred on High Road at around 6.35am on Sunday June 28.

The Fiesta did not stop at the scene and continued driving in the direction of Rayleigh. It is believed that the car lost a wing mirror in the collision.

The cyclist, a man in his 30s, did not suffer serious injury.

Anyone with information about this incident, the car or driver, or who may have relevant dash cam footage or CCTV, can submit information through the police website or call 101 quoting incident 258 of 28 June.
