ESSEX Police has released CCTV images of a man wanted for questioning over a Southend burglary.

Officers are investigating a theft from an address in San Remo Parade, Westcliff on Sea, in July.

A man reportedly entered the property via the front door and stole a handbag and a shoulder bag.

The bags contained bank cards, which were then used to make purchases at Tesco Express in Southchurch Avenue, Southend.

The suspect was described as white, stocky, in his forties and roughly 5’10” tall. He had stubble and wore a tartan flat cap.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to dial 101, ask for Southend CID and quote crime reference 42/119852/19.
Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
