Appeal to trace motorist after motorcyclist is seriously injured in Brentwood collision

Police are looking to trace the driver of a white car who may have witnessed a serious collision in Brentwood this morning, Tuesday October 20.

Officers were called to London Road shortly after 6.10am to reports that a motorcyclist had been injured near the junction with Kavanaghs Road.

The man, who is aged in his 30s and from Chelmsford, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A white car was seen to drive through the scene immediately after the collision and turned left out of Kavanaghs Road, travelling along London Road in the direction of the M25 and Brook Street roundabout.

Police are looking to trace the driver, who may have seen what happened and be able to help with our enquiries.

We’d also like to speak to anyone else who has yet to come forward and was in the area at the time or has dash cam footage.
