Detectives investigating a shooting in Walthamstow have arrested a man.
Officers from the Met’s Violent Crime Taskforce, supported by local officers, conducted a warrant at a residential address in Waltham Forest on Tuesday, June 9 where a 32-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, possession of ammunition and possession of class A and B drugs.
He was taken to an east London police station.
Police were called at approximately 11.40pm on Tuesday, March 3 to reports of shots fired in Banbury Road, E17.
A 30-year-old woman was found with gunshot injuries. She was taken to hospital, where her condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
It is believed the suspect or suspects fired from the street through the front door, striking the victim.
