Attempted aggravated burglary in Southend

Police are investigating an attempted aggravated burglary in Southend after three men tried to force their way into an address in North Avenue at around 5.30pm yesterday (Sunday February 5).

They were reported to have had a brick and knife.

Damage was caused to the front door of the property but they weren’t able to get in and then left the area in a grey 4×4 vehicle.
