Aubameyang pens new Gunners deal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed a new three-year contract with Emirates FA Cup holders, Arsenal.

Following months of speculation, the Gunners skipper put pen to paper, explaining: “Signing for this special club was never in doubt.”

The Gabon international has netted 72 times in 111 games since joining from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, including 29 in 44 matches in all competitions during the last campaign.

“It’s thanks to our fans, my team-mates, my family and everybody at this club that I feel like I belong here. I believe in Arsenal,” the 31-year-old added.

We can achieve big things together. We have something exciting here and I believe the best is to come for Arsenal.”
