Billericay Town 1-3 Oxford City
Billericay Town remains dangerously close to the Vanarama National League South relegation zone after visitors, Oxford City, recovered a half-time deficit to take the points at New Lodge.
The Blues suffered a derby defeat at the hands of Concord Rangers at the weekend but looked on course for a return to winning ways when Luke Wanadio fired low into the bottom corner of the City net midway through the opening period.
But Billericay was unable to push on and eventually succumb to a brace from midfielder, Zac McEachran and one from James Roberts, leaving them in seventeenth place, four points above the dropzone.
Billericay Town return to Vanarama National League South action on Saturday, January 9 when they face a tough trip to Eastbourne Borough (3pm).
