Dagenham & Redbridge slipped to their second successive Vanarama National League defeat as Eastleigh put the boot into the East Londoners play-off credentials at the Chigwell Construction Stadium.

Danny Whitehall struck for the visitors midway through the second half, sending Daryl McMahon’s men to their seventh setback of the campaign. Will Wright and Matt Robinson had chances for the Daggers, while Eastleigh’s Tom Whelan blasted a first-half spot-kick wide after Ryan Hall had been fouled.

Dagenham & Redbridge return to Vanaram National League action on Saturday, November 27 when they take on Notts County at Meadow Lane (5:20pm).
