Dagenham & Redbridge twice came from behind to see off Weymouth and extend their advantage at the top of the Vanarama National League to two points.

Josh Leslie-Smith nodded Weymouth in front, however, Mauro Vilhete restored parity after arriving unmarked following a corner routine.

But the Daggers were again chasing the game before the interval. Bradley Ash netting from the spot after Will Wright was adjudged to have handled.

Dagenham roared back after the break. Wright pulled the hosts level ten minutes after the restart before Wright’s flag-kick eluded everybody to complete the turnaround.

Paul McCallum dived headlong to put a gloss on the scoreline. Dagenham & Redbridge return to Vanarama National League action on Saturday, September 18 when they take on Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground (3pm).
