Ben Elton returns to stand up at Palace Theatre

Ben Elton returns to the stage to explore the modern age, bringing his hilarious perspectives to the Palace Theatre, Westcliff, on Wednesday April 20.

As the ‘Godfather’ of modern stand up, Elton’s 1987 and 1988 shows Motormouth and Motorvation cemented him as one of the scene’s most outspoken voices, with his left-leaning politics, ranting style, and quick wit capturing public consciousness.

Since then, he’s translated his comedy into television, film, literature and stage musicals, becoming a prolific and insightful creator with an unfettered ability to say it very much like it is.

As Ben says: “The last time I toured I was still smarter than my phone.“

The Southend show will be filmed for a new Ben Elton comedy special.

Tickets go on sale from Friday March 11.

Call the box office on 0343 310 0030.
