Rob Rayner was destructive with the ball, taking 6/24, while Andy Smith and Ross Poulton had two apiece, helping Billericay dismiss the home side for just 47 – Shahzad Hafeez and Taqi Abbas each scoring 14 for Harold Wood.
The result was never really in any serious doubt. Saurav Prabhakar was bowled by Taqi Abbas, with the visitors’ just three runs short of their target. Matthew Bell’s unbeaten 35 easing the Blunts Wall Road club over the line with plenty to spare.
