Southend United have confirmed the departure of defenders, John White and Kacper Lopata.
Long-serving White has joined Southern League Premier South side Wimborne Town until the end of the season.
The former Colchester United man made 287 appearances for Southend during a nine-year stint at Roots Hall. The player was recently granted a testimonial – Blues facing Leyton Orient on Saturday, May 21.
Polish under 20 international, Lopata appeared 18 times for Southend and has played a pivotal role in the club’s recovery under the management of Kevin Maher following his loan from Sheffield United.
After Lopata was recalled by the Blades, the Blues head coach enthused: “Kacper has been brilliant for us since the first day he joined and hopefully he goes on now and manages to play for Sheffield United.
“Thanks to both him and Sheffield United. It’s worked well for both clubs, in terms of the development of Kacper as a player and his impact in the team for us. He’s been great.
“He’s a great character and we wish him all the very best for the future.”
