Brentwood Borough Council is celebrating Summer with 60 hanging baskets, flower towers and thousands of plants around the borough to bring colour to high streets.
The hanging baskets can be found up and down Brentwood High Street, at Woodlands Avenue shops, Shenfield High Street and Brentwood Station.
Planted by hand, more than 2,000 plants have been used to create the natural blooms.
In addition, five flower towers have been installed to create a waterfall effect with three in Brentwood High Street and two in Shenfield. Each flower tower includes 270 plants.
All the baskets have an internal water reservoir and are watered once or twice a week dependant on weather conditions. Once watered a single basket can weigh 28lb.
