Isthmian League North outfit, Brentwood Town, have continued their quest to build a squad capable of challenging for promotion, announcing that popular frontman, Sam Bantick, will be returning to the club.
Bantick played a pivotal role in Town’s promotion to the Premier Division back in 2014/15 and boss, Adam Flanagan sees the player as every bit important this time around as they look to repeat that feat.
“Bano and myself have remained good friends over the years, so when I got this job one of the first calls I made was to him,” the Town boss told www. brentwoodtownfc.co.uk.
“After I outlined the chairman’s vision for Brentwood, Sam readily agreed to be part of what we are building. He is a fantastic lad with an infectious personality who is great to have in our dressing room.
“Sam lives more or less opposite the ground, so he cares about this club and wants the club to be successful and for him be a key part.”
Bantick comes in following a successful spell at Canvey Island. Previously, he represented Romford, Cambridge City, Enfield Town, Heybridge Swifts, Coggeshall Town and Aveley.
