Brown appointed new Billericay boss

Vanarama National League South strugglers Billericay Town have confirmed the appointment of Jody Brown as their new first-team manager.

Brown links up with the New Lodge club following the departure of Kevin Watson. His immediate aim, to steer the Blues away from the foot of the table following their winless start to the campaign.

Brown has gleaned plenty of previous experience with Dagenham & Redbridge, Heybridge Swifts, Concord Rangers, Welling United and Grays Athletic. He is joined by Steve Pitts, who comes in as football operations and recruitment manager, while James Robinson takes up the role of first team coach.

Billericay Town now face a tricky trip to Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday, October 9 (3pm).
