Officers investigating the discovery of stolen vehicle parts in Roxwell have identified up to 16 cars.
Following a tracker activation, the Dogs Unit attended an industrial unit off Roxwell Road on Tuesday July 14.
Detectives have been working alongside the Stolen Vehicle Intelligence Unit to establish how many cars had been broken down.
Paul Gerrish, who heads the Stolen Vehicle Intelligence Unit, said: “Over the course of a week, I’ve assessed multiple car parts and we now know they are the remains of at least 16 stolen vehicles from Essex, London and Kent.
