Car theft suspects could be injured after crash in South Woodham Ferrers

Police are appealing for information or dash cam footage following an incident where a car failed-to-stop for police and was then in collision with another vehicle.

Officers directed a white Mercedes to stop in Burnham Road, South Woodham Ferrers at around 4.45am this morning (Tuesday January 7).

The vehicle failed to stop and a short time later it was in collision with another car.

The Mercedes came to a stop on the roundabout at the Rettendon Turnpike and the occupants fled the scene.

Police believe they are likely to be injured and need anyone who may have seen someone injured in the area to contact them.

Anyone who saw anything or has dash cam footage can contact Essex Police on 101 quoting incident 108 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
