CCTV appeal after robbery and fraud in Shoeburyness

Police are appealing for any information that will help them identify a man they want to speak to in connection with reports of robbery and fraud.

Officers were called at about 1am on July 30 2023 to reports of a robbery in Colne Drive in Shoeburyness.

A victim was approached from behind by an unknown number of suspects who took his personal belongings including his wallet.

Later that morning, an attempt was made to use one of the credit cards in the wallet.

A CCTV image has now been released of a man police would like to speak to in connection with these incidents.
