CCTV appeal following theft of cash from man in Southend branch of McDonalds

Police have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with a theft in Southend.

A man in McDonalds had his backpack opened and an envelope containing a four figure sum of cash removed by a man whilst he was distracted by a second man.

It happened at around 11am on Monday August 22.

It is believed that they were in the High Street prior to this theft.
