CCTV appeal in connection with Buckhurst Hill theft and subsequent fraud

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak with in connection with a theft between June 14 and 15 and subsequent fraud totalling more than £20,000.

Two bank cards and phone sim cards were stolen from the victim’s locker at David Lloyd Chigwell, in Buckhurst Hill.

The bank cards were used numerous times to make purchases which totalled £22,000. The cards were used in various Apple stores in London and in various other retail premises in London.

Anyone with information about the incident, or the identity of the man pictured, is asked to contact police quoting the crime reference number 42/153800/22.
