CCTV images released after objects are thrown at vehicles on M25

Essex Police are continuing an investigation into reports of objects being thrown at vehicles on the M25 and are looking to identify individuals captured on camera.

Police received five reports of stones being thrown at traffic travelling between junctions 27 and 28, causing damage to the windscreens of at least two HGVs

between 11.15pm on Monday August 17 and 9.55pm on Tuesday August 18.

Detective Sergeant David Wilkinson said: “It is fortunate no-one was hurt but this reckless behaviour could have put drivers at serious risk of harm.”
