A majestic unbeaten 141 from Rob Johnson provided the foundation to Old Southendian & Southchurch’s sizable success over Billericay at a damp Garon Park.

Johnson’s epic innings included eighteen boundaries. Jordan Taylor provided able support, finishing 65 not out as the home side posted 269/1. 

Joe Madren took three for 29, while Mohammad Aqeel and Kaden Threadgold took two apiece to secure a 102-run victory.
