ROCHFORD HUNDRED will be playing National League rugby when the game resumes after the Magnolia Road club were crowned London & SE Premier Division champions.
Rochford will take their place alongside local rivals Westcliff in National Two South following their third successive promotion. The club held their place at the summit when rugby activities were suspended due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Speaking to Yellow Sport after the club were delivered the news, press officer, Sam Allen, enthused: “We are incredibly proud of the huge effort by all involved; this was a challenging season and one without its ups and downs.
“The determination and grit of the lads at times was a testament to their commitment and will help us in our ambition to be a sustainable National League club.
“That, coupled with the fact that our supporters were nothing short of outstanding this season; their unwavering support is in inspiration we hope to encapsulate for next season as our journey continues.”
