Chelmsford won this Gooch Division clash at Roding Lane with minimum fust after skittling Buckhurst Hill for just 98 inside 28 overs.

James Clifford impressed with the ball, taking 3/16, while Ben Clifford and Ben Waring chipped in with two apices as Chelmsford ripped through the home sides fragile batting order. Prithviraj Sarvaiya offered some resistance with 30 while those around him fell cheaply.

Chelmsford’s response got off to a rocky start with Oliver Wagstaff and Sean Sullivan back in the hutch, leaving the visitors on 13/2. However, Dan Hagen (33*) and skipper, Jack Sterland (36) carried them to the threshold – Clifford still their on 16 as a comfortable victory was achieved in double-quick time.
