Highly-rated Colchester United midfielder, Noah Chilvers, has put pen to paper on a new contract with Colchester United.
The 19-year-old has played all seven of the U’s senior matches to date, netting his first goal for the club in a 1-1 draw with Barrow a fortnight ago.
Speaking to www.cu-fc.com after committing his future to Colchester, the former Southend High School for Boys pupil enthused: “I had a meeting with Tony Humes and the Gaffer, and they told me the news which I was obviously buzzing about.”
“That was early last week, and I signed it on Friday before the Oldham game.”
The news comes as a boost to Colchester who are unbeaten in Sky Bet League Two after four matches.
